Emma and Richard met in Sydney, Australia in December 2013 and are both from the UK. Whilst staying in a stuffy 32 bed dorm in a Sydney hostel over Christmas, Richard was fascinated with Emma's ability to parade her sweat patches on her orange dress for everyone to see. It was a hot night in the height of summer and after one too many glasses of 'goon', Emma was rather quite hot and bothered, hence the sweating. Richard took joy in this hot, sweaty mystery and proclaimed this was a girl he'd rather like to get to know...

After realising there was much more to each other than sweat at first sight, they actually realised they had a number of things in common. The most important thing being a mutual love for travel and adventure.

Richard is a somewhat experienced traveller, having visited around 60 countries, which include destinations in Europe, Asia and South America.

​

Emma has a few countries to go to keep up with Richard but she has travelled with a friend around Southeast Asia and alone on Australia's East Coast, so is by no means a beginner in the world of travelling.

Emma and Rich spent two months travelling Asia together in 2016 and moved from the UK to Perth, Australia in December of the same year. They are currently living in Fremantle, which is a beautiful historic harbour city in Western Australia. They have now settled in Fremantle, but their adventurous life is far from over as they have a big bucket list of places they still wish to visit. Their main goal at the moment is to explore as much of WA as possible in their new Tesla Model S. Electric cars for the win!
